LITMUS 2021
The Annual Conference of The English Literary Association, LSR
The English Literary Association of LSR is joyously presenting the Annual Conference of English Department, LITMUS - Voices : Orality and Storytelling.
Picking up the theme from last year again to show all we had in our Pandora's Box. This year, amidst the pandemic, while the nature is not as full fledged as it was or could have been, the purpose of wanting to bring the art, culture and importance of Storytelling that has been with us since forever is something we want to achieve.
The focus this year is on Voice. The times we live have forced us as a generation to isolate ourselves from our community spaces. We're all locked in our houses just wanting to be heard and wanting to speak out. Stuck in our minds, no one to say anything out loud to, the loss we all have faced is massive. Hence, we can get together and try to find our Voices through these tough times, to find a space where we're heard. It is what keep us going during such uncertain times. The English Department of LSR welcomes you to our Annual Conference where we'll try to find inspiration to keep our Voices alive.

MUSICAL MUSE
“Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent”
-Victor Hugo🎷✒️
Have you ever wondered what went through Karna's mind when he was battling both internal dilemmas and external enemies during the Great War of Kurukshetra?
What kind of music do you think he would have used to express himself? What would Shakespeare's Desdemona have listened to while the world took advantage of her innocence? 🍂
Do you think you have the knack to give them voice through unique playlists made just for them?🎸🎵
Litmus'21, The Annual Academic Symposium of The Department of English, LSR is here with the perfect opportunity for you to present the point of view of underrepresented characters in the literary realm via creative and personalised playlists! How cool is that! We present to you, Musical Muse!🎻🎹
Come join us in this melodious journey, where together we will give musical wings to characters and free them from their repressed identities.🧚♀️
